41st CHEO Telethon a huge success!
At 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 8 a two-week fundraising total of $720,600 was announced on the CHEO Telethon on CTV Ottawa. The tally comes from donations made online and by phone between May 27 and June 8 only, comparatively to a yearly tally presented in past broadcasts.
This year’s Telethon, its 41st in CHEO’s 50-year history, showcased how donor dollars contribute to the needs at CHEO, CHEO Research Institute and Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice.
